The event took place on May 26 and 27 with the participation of more than 200 experts and senior medical officials in the country and from Russia, Thailand, and Singapore.

At the conference, Professor, Dr. Yagudina Roza Ismailovna (Sechenov National Medical University, Russian Federation), Master Saudamini Vishwanath Dabak (HITAP, Thailand), Master Pwee Keng Ho (Changi General Hospital , Singapore) shared content about medical technology assessment applications in these countries.

Accordingly, in many countries around the world, general health technology assessment and budget impact analysis are considered important tools for the priority setting and health policy planning process, especially in building health insurance benefit packages for medicines.

Commenting on the necessity of medical technology assessment at the hospital level in Vietnam at this time, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy – Head of HIU Pharmacy Department and representative of the conference organizing committee said that to develop the health sector and community care in terms of quality and quantity, many factors are needed, of which medical technology assessment is one of the specific and necessary solutions to improve the quality of service for the industry. medical.
